Initial Consultation
$290
Initial consultations are 90 minutes. This includes 75 minutes face to face time and 15 minutes for clinical record keeping.
Assessment and Reports
$193.99 per hour
The total cost of an assessment will depend on the number of presenting concerns, the number of sessions required to complete the assessment, and the length of report required.
Standard Therapy Session
$193.99
Standard therapy sessions are 60 minutes total. This includes 50 minutes face-to-face time and 10 minutes for clinical record keeping
Longer therapy sessions are available
Travel
Travel is charged at the hourly rate of $193.99.
The Hills Speech Pathology does not charge for travel under 10min
The Hills Speech Pathology is based in Cockatoo and works with families within half an hour drive from Cockatoo. Travel is charged in one direction only.
Other Services
Other direct and indirect services are charged at the hourly rate of $193.99.
This includes:

Reports and letters

Meetings with relevant professionals (eg. teachers, Paediatrician, Occupational Therapist etc)

Phone calls and emails with relevant professionals

Resource development (eg. custom home programs, visual aides etc)
Cancellations
If you need to cancel an appointment, please give The Hills Speech Pathology at least 24 hours notice, so we can offer your appointment time to another client.
If an appointment is cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment time, a full session fee will apply.
Funding Options
NDIS
The Hills Speech Pathology can see NDIS clients who are Self-Managed or Plan-Managed.
Medicare
The Hills Speech Pathology accepts Chronic Disease Management care plans. These plans, initiated by a General Practitioner, provide clients with access to up to 5 Medicare rebated sessions per calendar year. Please speak with your child’s GP to determine if your child is eligible for this care plan.
Private Health Insurance
The Hills Speech Pathology is able to provide invoices that enable clients to access claims back from eligible private health funds. Please let Ellyn know that you would like to do this at the time of booking your appointment.
